Getting started
How to use your system
Five minutes a session, three times a week. Read this once and you'll never need to read it again.
Before your first session
Check what's in the box. One precision micro-infusion delivery head, your pre-filled 5ml serum vials, and a sterilisation guide and protocol card.
Start on clean, dry hair and scalp. Not damp. Product residue and water both sit in the way of what you're trying to deliver.
Wipe the head with alcohol before and after every session. Every session, not most sessions. It takes ten seconds and it's the single thing most likely to cause a problem if you skip it.
Pick an evening. Do the session at night rather than before work — mild redness settles while you sleep, and you won't be styling over it.
Take your day-one photos first. Before the first session, not after. This is the only chance you get, and in twelve weeks it's the difference between knowing and guessing. Here's how to take them properly.
The session, step by step
Stamp
Press the head gently and lift. Move about a centimetre and repeat, working in overlapping rows across the area. Let the head's own depth do the work — do not push, and do not drag it sideways.
Done
Leave the serum on. Don't rinse, don't style over it, don't apply anything else on top tonight. Wipe the head with alcohol, let it dry, and get on with your evening.
Doing it properly
Three times a week, every other day. Monday, Wednesday, Friday works for most men. The rest day matters — the scalp needs the gap to do its part.
Cover the whole thinning area, not just the worst of it. The follicles at the edge of a thinning patch are the ones most likely to respond, and they're the ones people skip.
More pressure is not more result. This is the mistake to avoid. The depth is engineered at 0.5mm precisely because that clears the scalp barrier and then stops. Pushing harder doesn't deliver more serum — it causes injury, injury causes inflammation, and inflammation is the opposite of what a struggling follicle needs.
Don't add sessions. Doing it five times a week won't accelerate anything. The growth cycle sets the pace, not your effort, and over-doing it is the one way to make this counterproductive.
Replace the head as directed on your protocol card. A blunt head stops opening clean channels and starts dragging.
What's normal, and what isn't
Normal: mild redness or warmth for an hour or two afterwards. A slight tingle as the serum goes on. Nothing visible by morning.
Normal, and the one that worries people: shedding in the first two to three weeks. Hair that was already on its way out leaves on a slightly earlier schedule when the follicle cycle gets stimulated. It is not the product taking your hair — it is the turnover you were already having, compressed. It settles.
Not normal: bleeding, scabbing, lasting soreness, or redness still there the next day. That means too much pressure. Stop, give it a week, and go gentler — the head should be pressed and lifted, never pushed or dragged.

Common questions.
Anything not covered here, email info@american-biolabs.com and we'll answer within 24 hours.
No. At 0.5mm it feels like tapping your fingernail against your skin, or someone touching a pen to your scalp. No bleeding, no marks, no downtime. If it hurts, you're pressing too hard.
No — just carry on with the next scheduled one. Don't double up to compensate. Consistency over months is what matters here, not any individual session.
Do one small area for your first session and see how your scalp is the next morning. Build up from there over two or three weeks. The serum includes niacinamide, panthenol and hyaluronic acid specifically for post-session comfort, and most men report no irritation at all.
Yes to shampoo — just not immediately before a session, since you want a clean dry scalp. Minoxidil is fine to continue, but apply it on non-session days or well after a session rather than straight onto freshly opened channels. If you want to taper off minoxidil, email us and we'll talk you through it.
Wipe it with isopropyl alcohol before and after every session and let it air-dry completely before it goes back in its case. Store it dry, capped, and at room temperature. Never share it with anyone.
Shedding slows around week 3 — you'll notice it in the drain. Cleaner pillowcase around week 6. Fine new hairs at the temples between weeks 8 and 10, which you will almost certainly blame on the bathroom light. Day 90 is when you compare photos. Month 4 onward is when other people start commenting.
Once you've reached the density you want, most men drop to a maintenance rhythm rather than stopping outright — the underlying cause of the thinning hasn't gone anywhere. It's drug-free, non-hormonal and non-systemic, so it's designed for indefinite use, and there's no rebound shedding cycle if you do stop.
Try the system for 120 days. If you don't see real change in your hair, email us for a full refund — and keep the product.
